REVELATION - CHIZAYON PNV: $11.95
This new translation by Todd Effren restores the palaeo-Hebrew script to the text where the proper Name should be.
“haChizayon” is transliterated Hebrew for “the Revelation.” If we transliterate the first three words of the Book of Revelation, they become: “haChizayon leiYahushua haMashiach.” To “transliterate” is to carry the sound of the words of one language into another language’s alphabet (not the meaning). It’s literally “trans-lettering” the words, so a person foreign to the original language can pronounce names and other words accurately. This is an intensive study of the Book of Revelation written by Yochanan, one of the original 12 students of Yahushua haMashiach.
IS THE WRITER OF REVELATION STILL ALIVE?
Yochanan was exiled to the island of Patmos in the Mediterranean Sea, where he was left to live out the rest of his mortal life. While most christians have been taught that he was seeing and hearing incorporeal, ephemeral-visions upon a “sun-day”, the truth of the matter is quite different. Their translation reads, “I was in the Spirit upon the Lord’s day;” however it is really telling us that he was spiritually transported to the future “Day of YHWH,” a period of time we may better understand as being the “great tribulation,” ending in the return of Yahushua haMashiach with all of His resurrected qodesh ones, His bride– Yisrael. Time periods are the main theme in this “revelation,” and they are intentionally written for, and to those qodesh ones of Yisrael who are living through the time periods, so they will recognize the events being revealed by Yahushua, the Revelator. Just as we might arrange a “conference call” upon a telephone, Yahushua can “time-patch” reality as He did at Mt. 17:1-3, when He transformed and shone like the sun, talking with Mosheh and EliYahu. Likewise, brother Yochanan was “time-patched” forward to the great, awesome, and dreadful Day of YHWH. It is from this book, Chizayon, that we learn there will be “two witnesses” who will prophesy in the last days. Yochanan reports to us that he was told “You have to prophesy again concerning many people and nations and sovereigns” at chapter 10:11. Could he be one of these “two witnesses?”
Did Yochanan die upon Patmos? Traditional records tell us he was boiled in oil three times; obviously he had been accused of a capital crime- and if they couldn’t put him to death, it helps explain why he was exiled to Patmos. Is there any Scriptural evidence to support the possibility that the author of this book may be STILL ALIVE? Well yes, in fact, THERE IS! One clue is given at Mt. 16:27, 28, where Yahushua speaks of the time of His return, then mentions something very curious:
“For Ben haAdam is going to come in the esteem of His Father with His messengers, and then He shall reward each according to his works. Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death at all until they see the Ben haAdam coming in His reign.”
At Yn. 21:18, Yahushua tells Kephah what kind of death he will have to endure, then Kephah asks Yahushua about Yochanan concerning this same topic– Yochanan’s death. Yn. 21:20:
“And now Kephah, turning around, saw the taught one whom Yahushua loved following, who also had leaned upon His breast at the supper, and said, ‘Master, who is the one who is delivering You up?’ Seeing him, Kephah said to Yahushua, ‘But Master, what about this one?’
[REFERRING TO YOCHANAN’S DEATH]
Yahushua said to him, ‘If I wish him to remain until I come, what is that to you?’ ”
So let’s watch, pray, and study this translational work of Todd Effren very carefully, restored with the Key of Knowledge: the NAME of the Creator of heaven and earth- YHWH.
