Why Do People Call On "the LORD?"

Try to follow the logic here; we're going to use the same logical flow, only in reverse: 
Whenever we see discussions on the difference between "Yahusha" and "Jesus", it's important to realize it is somewhat like comparing apples with oranges.

One is Hebrew, the other Greek. We know the Name was prophesied at ZekarYah chapter 3, "Yahusha."

 
If we were to start with the Hebrew, we would never arrive at "Jesus" going from Greek then Latin, as it is claimed. 
But, if we start with Jesus, and back-track to Hebrew, we go from the Latin IESU to the Greek IESOUS, and find the closest Hebrew name to be ESU (AYIN-SHIN-UAU). The Latin IESU influenced the Arabs, who refer to Yahusha as "ISA".

IESU and ESU are about as close as it gets.

This "ESU" is the name of YaAqob's twin brother, aka "ESAU." "Esau" means "hairy".

  The Septuagint is the late 2nd century BCE Greek translation of the TaNaK, and it attempts to transliterate the name "Yahusha" (Yod-Hay-Uau-Shin-Ayin). These Hebrew letters were conveyed into the Greek letters IESOUS. This fails badly to express the sound properly, given the limitations of the Greek (no letter "Y", no "SH" sound). The best the Greek can do would be IAOUSE, as you will soon see.

The first 3 letters of the Name "Yahuah" (Yod-Hay-Uau-Hay) are also seen in the name "Yahusha".

  For the Tetragrammaton, Clement of Alexandria wrote the Greek letters for the transliteration (of Yahuah) "IAOUE". To apply this reasoning to the name "Yahusha", one only need add the "sha" to the end of the word (but Greek has no "SH" sound). This would produce IAOU+SE, IAOUSE in the Greek. This is not what we see; instead we have inherited IESOUS.  If one says "SOUS", what do we hear?  In Hebrew, we hear "horse" (soos). In the Greek culture, one would have been inclined to hear the name of their sun deity, ZEUS. Spelling aside, it is what one hears being spoken when "transliteration" is involved.  Today, we see attempts at transliterating the Name of Yahuah, and Yahusha, in all sorts of ways.  The direct, and most simple approach is best.

  When we try to explain the sound of Hebrew to English-speaking people, we need to compare apples to apples. If we see Greek letters used to explain the Hebrew, the goal is less about transliterating, and more about excusing the mutilation that we have inherited. Moving the corrupted form further back into the past and saying "the Septuagint uses this transliteration" is a shell game,

and it serves to perpetuate the corruption, not correct the error. 

The elephant in the room is what we are hearing in place of what we should be hearing. Making a flow-chart is one way to explain the components of the corruption, but is also how the trick works for the ones holding on to deception, and luring others into their confusion. Go to the Hebrew as a whole, and you'll understand it doesn't need to be explained by means of the other languages.

The foreign languages have caused the distortions, what may be unintended consequences. The best solution is to learn Hebrew before the Masoretes altered it for everyone, and skip the Greek and Latin entirely, and look at the whole instead of the separate parts.

Was the distortion intentional? One has to wonder what purpose "Christograms" served, taking the first and last letters of the Greek form and producing "IC XC", or the first 3 letter of IESOUS (in uncials, capital letters, IHSOUS) giving us "IHS".  Somehow it doesn't seem there was a priority placed on getting the true Name into the world, but rather it was being altered and hidden away from everyone.  They still do this with the Dead Sea Scrolls Hebrew copy of MattithYahu.  Where can we all look at it?
