THE TEMPLE NOT MADE WITH HANDS IS THE BRIDE OF YAHUSHA.  HE IS THE 'MASTER OF THE SABBATH', AND THE SABBATH IS THE SIGN OF THE EVERLASTING COVENANT (EZ 20).  IF A TEACHING REMOVES THIS SIGN AND SETS UP AN ABOMINATION THAT "DESOLATES" THE COVENANT, AND ITS SIGN, WE HAVE TURNED ASIDE TO MYTHS AND DOCTRINES OF DEMONS.  THE BEAST ALREADY TRIED THIS WITH "SUN-DAY".

   Has it occurred to those falling for the “lunar Sabbath” heresy that Yahusha was in perfect agreement with the weekly and annual Sabbaths practiced around Him just 2000 years ago?  If there had been any previous secret knowledge (or “hidden manna” as the promoters of the lunar Sabbath claim), surely Yahusha would have made it known that there was some major flaw in the timing of the week of seven days.  Further, if anyone had attempted to change the correct pattern, such as Rome, then there would be some evidence of this;  what Rome did attempt (the 8-day week) failed miserably and collapsed back into the true pattern used in the rest of the world since the dawn of time.

Wikipedia.org tells us:  “Because the nundinal cycle was absolutely fixed at eight days under the Republic, information about the dates of market days is one of the most important tools we have for working out the Julian equivalent of a Roman date in the pre-Julian calendar. In the early Empire, the Roman market day was occasionally changed.”

   Claiming the Romans forced a “seven-day week” upon the whole world is simply false information.  Even if they did so without any record of it happening, the Chinese have been insulated from the western cultures since long before Herodotus, the father of History, and they have always observed a seven-day week.  The Romans didn’t cause the 7-day week seen all over the world!  Even tribes that have had no contact with outsiders are found to have the imprint of the 7-day week.  The 7-day week is a fingerprint of Yahuah on all humanity. 

   The record shows that late in the second century there were the beginnings of the observance of “Sun-day” resting among some assemblies, while the rest of the Roman assemblies observed the original seventh day.  So, both the true Sabbath, as well as the first day of the week, began to be observed.  Then, we have this bit of evidence to contend with:

In the 4th century, Socrates Scholasticus Church History book 5 states:

“For although almost all churches throughout the world celebrate the sacred mysteries on the Sabbath of every week, yet the Christians of Alexandria and at Rome, on account of some ancient tradition, have ceased to do this.” 

Alexandria, Egypt is the source of the fusion religion of the “church fathers”, the Catechetical School of Alexandria.

CONSTANTINE WITH HIS DEITY, APOLLO, THE SUN

On 7 March AD 321, the Roman Emperor Constantine issued a decree making Sun-day a day of rest from labor stating:

“All judges and city people and the craftsmen shall rest upon the venerable day of the sun. Country people, however, may freely attend to the cultivation of the fields, because it frequently happens that no other days are better adapted for planting the grain in the furrows or the vines in trenches. So that the advantage given by heavenly providence may not for the occasion of a short time perish.”

Also in the 4th century, Sozomen Church History book 7 states:

“The people of Constantinople, and almost everywhere, assemble together on the Sabbath, as well as on the first day of the week, which custom is never observed at Rome or at Alexandria.”

The people at Rome and Alexandria were doing the “Sun-day” resting, and they were antagonistic toward those who observed the true 7th day commanded in the Torah.  By the 4th century, the "Sun-day" heresy had spread like yeast, and Sozomen claims that Constantinople and “almost everywhere” assembled on the Sabbath, as well as the first day of the week.  But at least Sozomen knew what a “week” is.  His “week” is the same week of 7 days we know today.
