THE NAME OF THE CREATOR

There's a Commandment pertaining to the Name?

Babbling has occurred, and it began long ago as a result of a new building project by Nimrod at Babel (a word meaning confusion). Our tongues, or lips, became confused. The underlying reason for the confusion of the languages was rebellion.

"I don't speak Hebrew!", or "He knows who I mean; I can call Him whatever I want!"  . . . . . we often hear these kind of comments.

They have an unwillingness to be healed, because they don't even know they are sick.

We have LIGHT, but what we need now is EYESIGHT to cure the blindness.

Our Teachers Have Withheld the Key Of Knowledge: The NAME

We were told, but now in the last days we understand.

We will not see Him again until we say one simple sentence (Mt. 23:39).

If you go to a teacher or pastor and ask if there is such a thing as a "sin of omission," and he says yes, follow-up with another question. Ask if he knows what the Name of our Creator is, and if he has omitted revealing it. How will they call on the Name unless they are sent someone to tell them what it is? If you have read and understood this, then it is your obligation to warn them - they are sleeping soundly, and the Natsarim are shouting from the rooftops.

Baruk haba bashem Yahuah

We've been babbling, haven't we?

Yahuah is fixing our lips now.

(PURPLE, ROYAL BLUE, CRANBERRY, NAVY, BLACK)

"I have decided to assemble the nations, to gather the kingdoms and to pour out my wrath on them- all my fierce anger.  The whole world will be consumed by the fire of my jealous anger.

"Then will I purify the lips of the peoples, that all of them may call on the Name of Yahuah and serve Him shoulder to shoulder.”     . . . . . "Call on the Name"?

Gen 4:25-26:
"Adam lay with his wife again, and she gave birth to a son and named him Seth, saying, 'Alahim has granted me another child in place of Abel,  since Qayin killed him.'

Seth also had a son, and he named him Anush.

At that time men began to
call on the Name of YAHUAH."

Prov 30:4

“Who has ascended up into heaven, or descended?  Who has gathered the wind in His fists?  Who has bound the waters in a garment?  Who has established all the ends of the arets?

What is His Name, and what is His Son's Name, if you can tell?”

We are now treading in the area of the 3rd Commandment, where the Name of Yahuah is to be honorable and never brought to naught, expunged, or circumlocuted (talked around), laid waste, or ruined. The sin of omission is knowingly withholding vital information.

The rebellious act of violating any one of the Ten Words carries the penalty of death.

Ex 20:7

"You do not take the Name of YAHUAH your Alahim in vain; for YAHUAH will not hold him guiltless that takes His Name in vain."
dictionary definition for "vain":

"ineffectual or unsuccessful;  futile;  a VAIN effort; without significance, value, or importance; baseless or worthless."

"Vain" is a light concept compared to the authentic idea conveyed by the original Hebrew text.  The inspired Hebrew word which we translate the word "VAIN" from is shin-waw-alef, SHOAH, #7724 and this is the definition of it in Hebrew:

Devastation, ruin, perish, lay waste;  DESTROY.

So, to destroy, omit, miss, obfuscate, circumlocute, substitute, shun, ignore, deny, change, ruin, or treat lightly is what "SHOAH" means.  YOM HA SHOAH is a modern-day remembrance of the Holocaust, when 6 million Yahudim perished.

YAHUAH:   Yod Hay Uau Hay

W is a recently-developed letter

13th century Anglo-Saxons adopted this shape “W” to stand for

the sound of “double-U”  (UU).

The French resisted adopting a foreign letter, so they wrote it as “VV” and called it “double-vay.”

YAHUDAH:  Yod Hay Uau Daleth Hay

6th Hebrew letter:  “oo”  or “o”

“double-U” is new letter  (UU)

A Christian friend “named” Freddie wrote:

“I stopped here because frankly I had read enough.

Look, God and Jesus both have many, many names in the Old and New Testament. God’s true name is not “Alahim” or even “Yaweh”. And God’s native language is not Hebrew! Or even Aramaic.

If God had first manifested himself to people in Mexico instead these “Nazarene Israel” people would be claiming his true name was “Señor”. If God first appeared in Germany I guess we’d have to call Him “Gott”.  Good grief.

God is too big for any name so to say that we need to use one particular set of names as if they are magic is farcical. I also don’t see much problem with the source of some of these names either. If the words we are using are intended to say “king of all kings” or “Lord God almighty” that’s what they mean. He also responds to “Abba father” an incredibly informal and intimate term that a child might use to refer to their father! I don’t think God cares about the words. He is more intent on the heart and the intent.”

Most of the reasoning in his response confirms that he is still firmly fixed in the "Christian" camp, which claims to obey the Torah, yet has eliminated what they call the "Jewish" laws.  They still feAl they obey, and refer to themselves as Gentiles.  Gentiles are foreigners to the Covenants, so in this they are correct.  To be joined to Yahuah requires that one enjoin to Him through the Covenants, and then one becomes a fellow citizen of Israel.

YAHUSHA is the Mediator of these Covenants, and He writes a love for the Torah upon our hearts, which is the "Renewed Covenant" with the "house of Israel" and the "house of Yahudah" (YermeYahu/Jer 31, Heb. 8).  Christians that hear the word "Israel" and  usually think "Jewish", and confuse us with "Rabbinical Judaism", which we most certainly are not.

Example of how names are   distinguished from TITLES:

James Brown – a name, the exclusive personal noun, his contract name.

Godfather of Soul  -  a title, what the person is about, his renown, or what he's known for.

Names:   To begin, where in Scripture do we find any reference to Names (plural) for Yahuah?

A name is a distinctly personal, specific designation.  As the term Name is used in Scripture, it refers exclusively to one word used at least 6,823 times:  YAHUAH.  It is the personal, proper name which Yahuah points to repeatedly, and in this Name alone He makes each of His Covenants.  It is identical to a "brand" or "trademark" really.

A pronoun is used to generally identify a thing, a function or role, such as father or it.  A personal pronoun identifies a specific thing, using a particular term ascribed to that person or thing by a peculiar term, which we know as a name.

A name is exclusive, excluding the broad, diffuse masses.

A boat is a thing.  If we name the boat, we can specifically identify one boat from all the other boats. In this case, the term GOD is a prime example.  There are no GODS, neither is this term is applicable to the true, living Being we all know as the Creator of the universe. Creator is not a name either, but a pronoun that refers to the Being that did the creating.  Without naming the specific being we intend to specify, a listener can fill-in whatever being they may be thinking of. or believing in. The tendency of tradition is to use GENERIC names.

GENERIC:  definition:  (adjective) General, non-specific, non-exclusive

Prov 18:10  (Notice the singular word, NAME, not NAMES):

“The Name of Yahuah is a strong tower;  the righteous run to it and are safe.”

The commonly taught “names” as they are listed by tradition,

Yet only ONE of these is a personal, proper noun:

ANCIENT OF DAYS  Hebrew, ATTIQ  YOMIN

The Hebrew word ATTIQ (6268),  is used to mean ancient, long ago, ANTIQUE, OLD ONE.   YOM = day(s)

Rom 10:12-15

“For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,  for ‘Everyone who calls on the Name of YAHUAH will be saved.’

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?  And how can they hear without someone preaching (speaking) to them?  And how can they preach unless they are sent?  As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’"

At Yahukanon 17:6, YAHUSHA says:

“I have revealed (uncovered) Your Name to those whom You gave me out of the world.”

At Acts 4, Kefa and Yahukanon had been arrested by the Sanhedrin.  The elders of Yisharal were so steeped in the tradition of not saying the Name aloud, they conferred among themselves saying:

“But to stop this thing from spreading any further among the people (the Name), we must warn these men to speak no longer to anyone in this Name.”  Acts 4:17.

The Name YAHUSHA contains the Name of Yahuah.  Acts 4:7 begins their examination.  Brought before the elders, Kefa and Yahukanon are asked

“By what power or by what name did you do this?”.

Ex. 23:13:

“Be careful to do everything I have said to you.  Do not invoke the names of other Alahim;  DO NOT LET THEM BE HEARD ON YOUR LIPS.”

For some time, Natsarim were very afraid and distrustful of Paul:

“ . . . Is not this he that in Yerushalom made havoc of them that called on this Name?  And has he come here for the intention that he might bring them bound before the chief priests”   (Acts 9:15,16).

Paul was nabbed by the Yahudim of Achaia, and they wanted him dead so much that they rushed him to the Roman proconsul Gallio.  Gallio, no doubt a Pagan, must have thought they were crazy when he heard the reason they were so murderously enraged, and he said:

“If indeed it was an act of injustice or reckless evil, O Yahudim, according to REASON I would bear with you; BUT if it be a question concerning a WORD, or NAMES, and that law which is among YOU, see you to it, for I will be no judge of THESE things.” (Acts 18:14,15).

About the word GOD - WHY WE SHOULD NEVER UTTER IT

This is what the Encylopedia Americana (1945 Edition) says under the topic “GOD”:

GOD (god) Common Teutonic word for personal object of religious worship, formerly applicable to super-human beings of heathen myth; on conversion of Teutonic races to Christianity, term was applied to Supreme Being.”

Gen 4:26-5:1:   "At that time men began to call on the Name of Yahuah."

This statement alone unravels the debate in our favor.  The text uses a singular form, SHEM (name), not SHEMOTH (names).  It also presents the reader with that Name, Yahuah, which translators expunged (SHOAH, DESTROYED, REPLACED) for most of us.

Ex 3:13-15:   "Mosheh said to Alahim, "Suppose I go to the Yisharalites and say to them, 'The Alahim of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, 'What is His Name?'  Then what shall I tell them? Alahim said to Mosheh, 'ahayah asher ahayah.' This is what you are to say to the Yisharalites: 'ehYah has sent me to you.'   Alahim also said to Mosheh,  'Say to the Yisharalites, YAHUAH, the Alahim of your fathers--the Alahim of Abraham, the Alahim of Yitshaq and the Alahim of Yaqub--has sent me to you.'

This is My Name forever, the Name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation."

Ex 5:2:   "Farah said, 'Who is YAHUAH, that I should obey Him and let Yisharal go?  I do not know YAHUAH, and I will not let Yisharal go.'"

We are to be baptized in the NAME (not Names)  -  and we see at Acts 2 that singular Name is YAHUSHA, meaning I am your Deliverer.

Amanual  -  Alahim is with us:  This seems to be the one exception.  This word is in fact used as a personal proper noun, used in 3 places:  YashaYahu 7:14, 8:8, & Mt. 1:23.

This name is somewhat like Melchizedek, a descriptive name given to the King of Jebus, also known as Salem, a city later to become Yerushalom.

In fact, Melchizedek could have been SHEM, the son of Noak.

IMMANUAL is not the Covenant Name, the memorial Name which Yahuah has proclaimed to BE His Name The text says His Name (Yahuah) will be “called” Amanual.

The context at YashaYahu 7:14 for the word Amanual tells us His Name will be called  “Alahim is with us” - this is different than saying His Name will BE Amanual.

Compare the personal name, JAMES BROWN with the associated title or reputation that is bestowed on him:  GODFATHER OF SOUL.  Put in this context, we can clearly see how Amanual is what Yahuah’s name is “called”, just as the “Godfather of soul” is what James Brown’s name is “called.” It’s somewhat like naming a name, or giving a name a reputation.

It is literally the estimation in which a person or thing is held,” or

the “notoriety for some particular noteworthy, distinguished characteristic.”

At Ez. 48:35, Yerushalom will have the new name “Yahuah Shammah."

It will also be called “Yahuah Tsedekenu” according to YirmeYahu 33:16.

YAHUSHA’s “new name” is prophesied to become “Yahuah Tsedekenu

Jer / YirmeYahu 23:6

“In his days Yahudah will be saved and Yisharal will live in safety.

This is the Name by which He will be called: Yahuah Our Righteousness.”

Jer 23:5-6

"The days are coming," declares Yahuah,

"when I will raise up to Daud a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.

In his days Yahudah will be saved and Yisharal will live in safety.

This is the Name by which He will be called:

Yahuah Tsedekenu."

Mal. 3:16-18:  "Then shall those who fear Yahuah speak to one another, and Yahuah listen and hear, and a book of remembrance be written before Him, of those who fear Yahuah and those who think upon His Name. And they shall be Mine, said Yahuah of armies, on the day that I prepare a treasured possession. And I shall spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him. Then you shall again see the difference between the righteous and the wrong, between one who serves Alahim and one who does not serve Him."

Mt. 10:22 tells us we will be hated because of His Name

Yasha Yahu 52:6 tells us that His people shall know His Name.

Ezek. 20:39 says there will come a day when His Name will no longer be profaned.

"Blessed is the one coming in the Name of Yahuah"  - Ps. 118:26, quoted by YAHUSHA at:

Matt 23:39
"For I tell you, you will not see Me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the Name of Yahuah.'"

Malachi 3:16-18:  "Then those who feared Yahuah talked with one another, and Yahuah listened and heard.  A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared Yahuah and meditated upon his name.  'They will be mine,' says Yahuah Shaddai, 'in the day when I make up my treasured possession.  I will spare them, just as in compassion a man spares his son who serves him.  And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve Alahim and those who do not.'"

Jer / YirmeYahu 20:9:
"But if I say, "I will not remember Him, or speak anymore in His Name,' then in my heart it becomes like a burning fire shut up in my bones; and I am weary of holding it in, and I cannot endure it."

23:26-27:  "How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies?  yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; which think to cause My people to forget my Name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my Name for Baal?"

Baal (literally BEL):   definition:  lord
Ps 23:1
"Yahuah (or The LORD?) is my shepherd; I shall not want."  LORD = BAAL.

Invoking His Covenant Name, Yahuah declared that the Yahudim would not utter His Name:

Jer 44:24-26:  "Hear the word of Yahuah, all you people of Yahudah in Egypt.  This is what Yahuah Shaddai, the Alahim of Israel, says:  You and your wives have shown by your actions (making cakes, pouring drink offerings, and burning incense for ASHERAH) what you promised when you said, 'We will certainly carry out the vows we made to burn incense and pour out drink offerings to the Queen of Heaven (ASHERAH).'

"Go ahead then, do what you promised!  Keep your vows!   But hear the Word of Yahuah, all Yahudim living in Egypt: 'I swear by my great Name,' says Yahuah, 'that no one from Yahudah living anywhere in Egypt will ever again invoke my Name or swear,  "As surely as the Sovereign Yahuah lives."  Adult beverage "toasts" to give honors to anything may be these drink offerings  -  to "offer a toast" is a type of "boasting."

If any man boasts, what should be the reason?
Jer / YirmeYahu 9:24:
"Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows Me, that I am Yahuah, Who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on
Earth, for in these I delight," declares Yahuah.

YashaYahu / Isa 42:5-9:   "This is what Alahim Yahuah says-- He who created the heavens and stretched them out,
who spread out the earth and all that comes out of it, who gives breath to its people, and life to those who walk on it:
'I, Yahuah, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand.  I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the guyim, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison, and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.

"I am Yahuah; that is my Name!
I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols.
See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare;  before they spring into being I announce them to you."

Freddie, our Christian friend, stated above that His Name is not Yaweh, intending to say His Name is NOT Yahuah;  yet Yahuah just stated that His Name in fact is Yahuah.

Yeshua Or YAHUSHA? Joshua isn't quite right; and Yeshua is still pretty far off, because Gabrial's explanation of the Name at Luke 1:21 describes the function (salvation) along with Who is providing that salvation.

The 1611 KJV was the first time in history that anyone on this planet set eyes on the name JESUS in print.

The Geneva translation had it spelled IESVS in 1599.

“HE-SOOS” MEANS “THE HORSE” IN HEBREW, AND MEANS NOTHING AT ALL IN ANY LANGUAGE OTHER THAN GREEK, IN WHICH CASE IT REFERS TO ZEUS;   AS DO OTHER GREEK WORDS SUCH AS:

TARSUS,  PARNASSUS,  DIONYSUS,   THE GREEK DEITY OF HEALING, IEUSUS,  PEGASUS, AND OTHERS.   THERE ARE DEITIES IN OTHER CULTURES THAT WE FIND, SUCH AS THE DRUID’S “ESUS”, AND THE EGYPTIAN’S ISIS WHICH SEEM CLOSELY LINKED WITH THE TERM “JESUS”, WHICH BECAME POPULARIZED BY THE SOCIETY OF JESUS, THE JESUITS.  PROTESTANTISM PICKED UP THIS JESUS SPELLING FROM THE CATHOLIC INSTITUTION, NEVER DOUBTING ITS ORIGINS.

The elders of Yisharal were so steeped in the tradition of not saying the Name aloud, they conferred among themselves saying

“But to stop this thing from spreading any further among the people (the Name), we must warn these men to speak no longer to anyone in this Name.” Acts 4:17.

The Name YAHUSHA contains the Name of YAHUAH.  Acts 4:7 begins their examination.   Brought before the elders, Kefa and Yahukanon are asked,

“By what power or by what name did you do this?”.

You will soon learn that the form "JESUS" is derived directly from YESHU, explained below.   What YESHU means will change your thinking about this radically.   In the Talmud, unbelieving Yahudim hatefully recorded the Name of the Mashiak of Yisharal as YESHU, often seen spelled today as Jeschu.

Q:    Where did we get the form "JESUS" from?

A:   The Jesuits    (They defend the form using the Greek and Latin, hoping you'll never discover what you are about to read):

The form "YESHUA" is from the acronym "YESHU" a mutilation of YAHUSHA's Name used by unbelieving Yahudim during the late 1st and 2nd century CE.    The letters in "YESHU" stood for the sentence, "may his name be blotted out"  (from the scroll of life).    This "Yeshu" acronym is the real root of the form JESUS, after going through Greek, then Latin:

YESHU   (remember, this is an acronym, meaning "may his name be blotted out", referring to the scroll of life).   A rabbinic word-play, from the original Hebrew words:

"Yemach Shmo u'Zikro"    NOTE:   There's not actually a letter "W" in the Hebrew alef-beth;  the letter "W" is a rather new letter to our own alpha-beta.   It's called a "DOUBLE-U" for a reason;   our letter "U" is a perfect match with the sixth letter of the Hebrew alef-beth, now called a "WAW".

Acronyms are abbreviated messages, like "SCUBA" stands for "self contained underwater breathing apparatus".

YESU   IESOU  -  Going into Greek, the letter "Y" became an IOTA because Greek has no "Y";   also, the sound of "SH" was lost, because Greek has no letters to make this sound.      The letter combination "OU" is a diphthong, arising from the Greek attempt to transliterate the sound "OO" as in "woof".   Our letter "U" and the Hebrew letter "WAW"  does this easily.  JESU is used also.

YESOUS  IESOU  took on an ending "S" to form IESOUS, since the Greek wanted to render the word masculine with the ending "S".  Going to Latin, the diphthong "OU" became "U".

JESUS  In the early 1530's, the letter "J" developed, causing a tail on proper names beginning with the letter " i " and words used at the beginning of sentences.   This "J" is really the letter "IOTA".   Many European languages pronounce "J" as the letter " i " or a "Y" sound.   They even spell Yugoslavia this way:  Jugoslavia.

By the year 1611 the letter "J" was officially part of the English languge and the King James Bible was printed along with pronunciation guides for all proper names like Jesus, Jew, Jeremiah, Jerusalem, Judah, and John. The name "Jesus" has been in use ever since.

THE ALEF TAU ENIGMA

In the inspired Hebrew texts of the first 5 scrolls of Scripture, scholars encounter an enigma.

Two letters occur together, seemingly for no reason, that they have not been able to explain.  They are the two letters ALEF and TAU.  These are the first and last letters of the Hebrew alef-beth (alphabet).

It seems to occur near, and even next to the Name hwhy in the texts, making YAHUSHA's words at Revelation 1:11 a true revelation  -  By identifying Himself as the ALEF and the TAU, YAHUSHA is telling us that He is the very Being that spoke with Mosheh – He is Yahuah.

The translation received in the GREEK at Rev. 1:11 says
the alpha and the omega:

Rev 1:7-8:

“Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of Him.

So shall it be!  Aman.  (AMAN is Hebrew to convey affirmation, used as we would say absolutely).

"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says Yahuah Alahim, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."

“ALMIGHTY” is the Hebrew term “SHADDAI”, as seen in
“Al SHADDAI.”

YAHUSHA revealed to us that HE is the Being speaking to man in the text of the prophet Mosheh, and it is HE that is the mysterious ALEF and the TAU, Who from the BEGINNING to the END has been speaking to His chosen ones.  He then states that HE is Al Shaddai, the Almighty.  So Revelation 1:11 solves the enigma of the recurring letters ALEF and TAU.

YAHUAH is a unique Hebrew word #3068, based on the root

hay-waw-hay #1933, HAUAH, often seen as HAWAH in Latin letters, meaning to become, or self-existence.

“who is, was, and is to come” is the definition of YAHUAH, existence in all three tenses, past, present, and future.

“I will be there” is perhaps the most complete meaning of this unique Hebrew word, which is the Personal Name of the ETERNAL CREATOR.  And, He has no other Name, as we find stated at Acts 4:12:

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

We respect everyone's attempts to pronounce the personal Name.   The personal Name of our Creator as revealed at least 6,823 times in the TaNaKh is spelled:  YOD-HAY-WAW-HAY

We prefer the literal sound of the letters as they appear comparatively in other Hebrew words, and the closest word using the identical letters in the same order as the Name happens to be:

YAHUDAH  (the fourth son of Leah, and the name of the tribe / family from which springs all those who today call themselves Jews, more accurately YAHUDIM.

This man's name, YAHUDAH, is spelled in Hebrew:

YOD-HAY-UAU-DALETH-HAY

Notice the following underlined letters, and imagine the sound of this word without the sound of the D:    YOD-HAY-UAU-DALETH-HAY

Clement of Alexandria trans-lettered the Name from Hebrew into Greek using the following:   IAOUE

The limitations of electronic text communications (like this) cause us to use the Latin letters Yahuah as an abbreviated form for the four letters of Yod (Y), Hay (H), Uau (U), Hay (H) - all vowel letters.

Proof: see www.fossilizedcustoms.com/transliteration.html

YaHUaH is another way of rendering the four letters, and probably more accurate.   The shape of the original Hebrew can be used here only in the form of a picture, since most everyone would be looking at nonsense without the appropriate font installed on their system.   The Hebrew words adonai, Alahim, eloi, eloah, and others are pronouns as you know.   Many people feel it is wrong to substitute formerly Pagan terms or names for Father Yahuah, of course (like GOD).   I've never found any Scriptures using the term "haShem" to replace the Name Yahuah, yet we know it's in common use among many Messianics and orthodox Yahudim. There's no letter "V" in older Hebrew, but modern Hebrew uses such a letter (since the 17th century).

"Jehovah" is a hybrid mongrelization of the Tetragrammaton Yahuah,  changed to JHVH, then the vowels of ADUNI are crammed in,  to CUE the reader to not pronounce the Name, but instead say aduni.

Remember the 3rd Commandment?  (SHOAH = DESTROY).

Al SHADDAI

Some teach that the patriarchs only knew Yahuah by the term "Al Shaddai"   --  due to the translation of Exodus 6:3 which commonly reads:   “And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by ("the Name of" are added words) God Almighty (Al Shaddai), but by My Name, JEHOVAH, was I not known to them."   Ex. 6:3 KJV

Being known as "Al Shaddai" conveys the meaning of "Alahim Almighty", yes, but it is not a proper noun  -  it is a description of what He is.    Yahuah is not saying this was known to them as a NAME, but that He was KNOWN to them as being Al Shaddai, the all-mighty Alahim.  The translations miss a simple fact concerning this text:  it's a question!   Here is a better rendering of what Yahuah actually meant to say:

"And I appeared to Abraham, to Yitzchak, and to Ya'akob, as Al Shaddai; and by My Name Yahuah, WAS I NOT KNOWN TO THEM?"   Exodus 6:3

This is corrected in the BYNV.

Exodus 6:3 is a QUESTION, making the meaning of the sentence different from what most have been led to understand. Examining the conversations with these men it is easy to see they knew the Name.   Men began to call on His Name very early, as we see at Genesis 4:26.

Hebrew has many similarities to our language, and in fact there are

a large percentage of common English words that derive from Hebrew roots.

The Hebrew root "AB" as we see in the name "ABRAM" or "ABRAHAM" is two letters (AB  =  alef + beth).

ABBA equates to the Latin word for "PATER".  The Hebrew word  ABRAM literally means “exalted father”,  from the original words Abu Ramu.

AVRAHAM?

There is no letter "V" in the ancient Hebrew, but because Hebrew is a "living language", corruptions (changes) have occurred, so the modern Hebrew does have a letter sounding like a "V".

About the word ABBA;   it's not a name, but a pronoun, just as FATHER isn't a name.   It's like the word MOTHER;  it's not a name.   The Hebrew word for MOTHER is EMMA, which later became the Latin MATER, often shortened to "MA" by the hillbilly set.

Yahuah refers to His "NAME" often in Scripture, and it's always associated with the same word:  yod-hay-uau-hay.

YAHUSHA revealed the FATHER to us, since Yisharal had not generally experienced Yahuah as FATHER, but more as Al Shaddai.

The translators of most editions of Scripture missed a subtle thing at Exodus 6:3.   Yahuah did not say His NAME was Al Shaddai, but that He appeared to them "as" Alahim Almighty  (Al, Alah, Alahim, & Aluah are all pronouns, not names).

Jesuit Influences:   The Jesuits (Society of Jesus) designed the Roman calendar we use, modeled on the previous Pagan Julian calendar.   They also use GREEK to explain our English transliteration for the Name above-all-names. Most are taught that the Name "JESUS" is a translation.   If this were so, then it could be "translated" into some meaning into English, Greek, Latin, or Hebrew, no?   No one can translate it back to Hebrew. To translate means to convey the MEANING of a word, not its SOUND.  The sound of a word taken into another language is a TRANSLITERATION

TRANS-LETTERING IS DIFFERENT FROM TRANSLATING.

All scholars know that YAHUSHA never heard anyone say "Jesus" to Him 2000 years ago.  It wasn't even invented until around 1530 CE, so how could anyone get "saved" in the name "Jesus" before it was invented?  To try to make it mean something in Greek, the ending "sus" definitely refers to Zeus, as it does in many other Greek names such as Tarsus, Pegasus, Dionysus, and Parnassus.  So, in Greek, the Name "JEsus" can mean "hail Zeus", or "son of Zeus."   It means nothing in Hebrew, the language it supposedly came from . . .  But, if you force it to mean anything, the closest it could come to any Hebrew word is the horse because soos is Hebrew for horse.   (HE-SOOS).

The name Yeshua means help or save, but the true Name YAHUSHA above means "I am your Deliverer."  The association with Zeus with the "sus" ending is possibly an intended distortion, made by Pagan copyists of long ago. Zeus was sometimes depicted as a HORSE-MAN, or "centaur."   The old Babylonian /Egyptian signs of the Zodiac/Zoo beasts in the skies included a centaur holding a bow and arrow, called Sagittarius - this is really Nimrod, the mighty hunter.  He was known as Orion the hunter also.  Satan (shatan) masquerades, changes, distorts,  and misleads.  Even "satan" came across rather close to its original: shatan

And, like they say, the translators managed to get the name for the Yerushalom garbage dump correct also;  but they just couldn't get the Name above all names right  . . . . .

Yual / Joel 2:27-32:  (QUOTED BY KEPHA AT ACTS 2):

“Then you will know that I am in Yisharal  -- that I am YAHUAH your Alahim, and that there is no other; never again will My people be shamed.

And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people.

Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.

Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.

I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke.

The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood

before the coming of the great and dreadful day of YAHUAH.

And everyone who calls on the Name of YAHUAH will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as YAHUAH has said, among the survivors whom YAHUAH calls.”

The CRY of the Natsarim on the Hills of Afraim after their 2730-year captivity:

PSALM 80

80:1  O Hear us, Shepherd of Yisharal, You who lead Yusef like a flock, You who dwell between the cherubim, Shine Forth.
80:2 Before Afraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up Your Might! Come to rescue us!
80:3 Turn us again, Alahim.
Cause Your face to shine, and we will be saved.
80:4 Yahuah Alahim of armies, How long will You be angry against the prayer of Your people?
80:5 You have fed them with the bread of tears,
and given them tears to drink in large measure.
80:6 You make us a source of contention to our neighbors. Our enemies laugh among themselves.
80:7 Turn us again, Alahim of armies.
Cause Your face to shine, and we will be delivered.
80:8 You brought a vine out of Egypt.
You drove out the nations, and planted it.
80:9 You cleared the ground for it.
It took deep root, and filled the land.
80:10 The mountains were covered with its shadow.
Its boughs were like Alahim’s cedars.
80:11 It sent out its branches to the sea,
Its shoots to the River.
80:12 Why have You broken down its walls,
so that all those who pass by the way pluck its fruit?
80:13 The boar out of the wood ravages it.
The wild animals of the field feed on it.
80:14 Turn again, we beg You, Alahim of armies.
Look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vine,
80:15 the stock which Your right hand planted,
the branch that You made strong for Yourself.
80:16 It’s burned with fire.  It’s cut down. They perish at Your rebuke.
80:17 Let Your hand be on the Man of Your right hand,
on the Son of Adam whom You made strong for Yourself,
80:18 And we shall not backslide from You.
Revive us, and we will call on Your Name.
80:19 Turn us again, Yahuah Alahim of armies.
Cause Your face to shine, and we will be delivered.
