The goal of Yahushua, His purpose, is to restore all Israel (especially those lost among the Gentiles) to His Covenant (Torah), through the activity of His Ruach haQodesh.   It is not a joining of Judaism and Christianity  ~ these are both apostate forms of religion.

The RESTORATION Yahushua seeks for us is to His Covenant, and the result is the joining together of the “House of Yahudah” with the “House of Yisrael”

(these are the other tribes scattered long ago).

Acts 3:13 “The Elohim of Aḇraham, and of Yitsḥaq, and of Yaʽaqoḇ, the Elohim of our fathers, esteemed His Servant יהושע, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release Him.

But you denied the Set-apart and Righteous One, and asked that a man, a murderer, be granted you.

But you killed the Leader(Author) of life, whom Elohim raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

And by the belief in His Name, this one whom you see and know, His Name made strong, and the belief which comes through Him has given him this perfect healing before all of you.

And now, brothers, I know that you did it in ignorance, as your rulers did too.

But this is how Elohim has filled what He had announced beforehand through the mouth of all the prophets, that His Messiah was to suffer.

Repent therefore and turn back, for the blotting out of your sins, in order that times of refreshing might come from the presence of the Master,

and that He sends יהושע Messiah, pre-appointed for you,

whom heaven needs to receive until the times of restoration of all matters, of which Elohim spoke through the mouth of all His set-apart prophets since of old.

2Ti 3:1  This⁵¹²⁴ know¹⁰⁹⁷ also,¹¹⁶¹ that³⁷⁵⁴ in¹⁷²² the last²⁰⁷⁸ days²²⁵⁰ perilous⁵⁴⁶⁷ times²⁵⁴⁰ shall come.¹⁷⁶⁴

1 Thess 4:13-18

“I would not have you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who are asleep, that you not mourn, even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Yahushua died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Yahushua Elohim will bring with Him.

For this we say to you by the word of the Master, that we which are alive and remain until the coming of the Master shall not precede those who are asleep.

For the Master Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of Elohim: and the dead in Mashiach shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Master in the air:  and so shall we ever be with the Master.

Therefore, comfort one another with these words.”

RESTORATION TO THE COVENANT

QUICK REVIEW OF ORIGINAL NAME:

YAHUSHUA  (YAH – IS OUR – SALVATION)

This is the true Name of the Mashiach (Messiah) of Israel.

YAHUAH  -  meaning I EXIST (past, present, future tenses)

I WAS   -   I AM   -   I WILL BE

ROOT:  HAYAH

This Name, Yahuah, is the personal Name of the Infinite, Spiritual Being that exists from eternity past without beginning or end. 

Restoration of the “KEY OF KNOWLEDGE”  -  THE NAME

Luke 11:52

“Woe to you, lawyers! for you have taken away the key of knowledge: you entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in you hindered.”

Restoration of the relationship between Yahuah and mankind has been Yahushua’s objective spanning the ages.  “Return” has been His plea, which is often seen as “REPENT” in our translations.

The relationship is restored through hearing and obeying “His Word”, the Covenant.  

He desires us to return to His TORAH.

All of the parables, properly interpreted, involve the TORAH, or Covenant, and how it is accepted, rejected, stolen, or trampled upon.

ISRAEL literally blew apart into TWO parts, the north and the south.

The north became known as “the house of Israel”, consisting of 10 tribes (families).

The south became known by the dominant tribe,

“the house of Yahudah”.

The “Prodigal Son” parable of Yahushua is about these two “houses”, and the lost sheep of the “house of Israel”.  The two houses are represented by two brothers:

"And He said,  A certain man had two sons:

and the younger of them (Ephraim, the house of Israel) said to his father,

Father, give me the portion of (your) substance that falls to me.   And he divided to them his living (inheritance).

And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together and took his journey into a far country; and there he wasted his substance with riotous living.

And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that country; and he began to be in want.

And he went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country; and he sent him into his field to feed swine.

And he would desire to have filled his belly with the husks that the swine ate: and no man gave anything to him.

But when he came to himself he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perished here with hunger!

I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight:

I am no more worthy to be called your son: make me as one of your hired servants.

And he arose, and came to his father.  But while he was yet afar off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck and kissed him.

And the son said to him,

Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight:  

I am no more worthy to be called your son.

But the father said to his servants, Bring forth quickly the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

and bring the fatted calf, (and) kill it, and let us eat, and make merry:

for this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost (not in the Covenant), and is found.  

And they began to be merry.

Now his elder son (Yahudah) was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing.

And he called to him one of the servants, and inquired what these things might be.

And he said unto him, ‘Your brother is come; and your father has killed the fatted calf, because he has received him safe and sound.

But he was angry, and would not go in: and his father came out, and entreated him.

But he answered and said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, and I never transgressed Commandment of yours;  and (yet) you never gave me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:

but when this your son came, who has devoured your living with harlots, you killed for him the fatted calf.

And he said to him, Son, you are ever with me, and all that is mine is yours.

But it was fitting to make merry and be glad: for this your brother was dead, and is alive (again); and (was) lost, and is found.”

Yahushua said further, in Yahuchanan 15:10

“If you guard My commands, you shall stay in My love, even as I have guarded My Father's commands and stay in His love.”

In Yahuchanan 14:15 He said:

“If you love Me, you shall guard My commands.”

Again, notice I Yahuchanan 1:4:

“The one who says “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is liar, and the Truth is not in him.

TORAH:  INSTRUCTION, TEACHING

The Covenant /Marriage Contract (BRITH)  Ex 20:1-17

ASERETH HA’DABARIM (10 WORDS)  Yahuah’s Covenant, our wedding vows:

LITERAL TRANSLATION:

“And Elohim spoke all these Words:

1.  ‘I am Yahuah your Elohim, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

You shall have no other elohim before My face.

2. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the Earth beneath or in the waters below.   You shall not bow down to them or worship them;  for I, Yahuah your Elohim, am a jealous Elohim, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand [ generations] of those who love Me and keep My Commandments.

3. You shall not cast the Name of Yahuah your Elohim to ruin, for Yahuah will not hold anyone guiltless who casts His Name to ruin,  (SHOAH = RUIN, DESTROY, LAY-WASTE)

4. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it qodesh. 

Six days you shall labor and do all your work,  but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahuah your Elohim.

On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates.  For in six days Yahuah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and He rested on the seventh day.

Therefore Yahuah blessed the Sabbath day and made it qodesh. 

5. Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land Yahuah your Elohim is giving you.

6. You shall not murder.

7. You shall not adulterate.

8. You shall not steal.

9. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

10. You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

Eternal Life  -  how is it acquired exactly?

This was asked of Yahushua:

Mat 19:16  And,²⁵³² behold,²⁴⁰⁰ one¹⁵²⁰ came⁴³³⁴ and said²⁰³⁶ to Him,⁸⁴⁶ Good^(agathos)18 Master,¹³²⁰ what⁵¹⁰¹ good^(agathos)18 shall I do,⁴¹⁶⁰ that²⁴⁴³ I may have²¹⁹² eternal¹⁶⁶ life?²²²²

(the man’s possessions were an “idol” in his heart, he loved them more than Yahuah, and Yahushua knew this)

”But¹¹⁶¹ when the³⁵⁸⁸ young man³⁴⁹⁵ heard¹⁹¹ that saying,³⁰⁵⁶ he went away⁵⁶⁵ sorrowful:³⁰⁷⁶ for¹⁰⁶³ he had^{2258, 2192} great⁴¹⁸³ possessions.²⁹³³

Then¹¹⁶¹ said²⁰³⁶ Yahushua²⁴²⁴ to His⁸⁴⁸ disciples,³¹⁰¹ “Verily²⁸¹ I say³⁰⁰⁴ unto you,⁵²¹³ That³⁷⁵⁴ a rich man⁴¹⁴⁵ shall hardly¹⁴²³ enter¹⁵²⁵ into¹⁵¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ kingdom⁹³² of heaven.³⁷⁷²

And¹¹⁶¹ again³⁸²⁵ I say³⁰⁰⁴ to you,⁵²¹³ It is²⁰⁷⁶ easier²¹²³ for a camel²⁵⁷⁴ to go¹³³⁰ through¹²²³ the eye⁵¹⁶⁹ of a needle,⁴⁴⁷⁶ than²²²⁸ for a rich man⁴¹⁴⁵ to enter¹⁵²⁵ into¹⁵¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ kingdom⁹³² of Elohim.”²³¹⁶

When¹¹⁶¹ His⁸⁴⁶ disciples³¹⁰¹ heard¹⁹¹ it, they were exceedingly⁴⁹⁷⁰ amazed,¹⁶⁰⁵ saying,³⁰⁰⁴ Who⁵¹⁰¹ then⁶⁸⁶ can¹⁴¹⁰ be saved?⁴⁹⁸²

“But¹¹⁶¹ Yahushua²⁴²⁴ beheld¹⁶⁸⁹ them, and said²⁰³⁶ to them,⁸⁴⁶ ”With³⁸⁴⁴ men⁴⁴⁴ this⁵¹²⁴ is²⁰⁷⁶ impossible;¹⁰² but¹¹⁶¹ with³⁸⁴⁴ Elohim²³¹⁶ all things³⁹⁵⁶ are²⁰⁷⁶ possible.”¹⁴¹⁵

Yahushua is the Creator of all things, seen and unseen. 

His goal is to draw us to Himself, and enter the Covenant He has made with mankind. 

Entering that Covenant, we pledge to obey Him by receiving His point-of-view of sin, so we see it as He sees it.   Seeing sin as He sees it, we seek to please Him instead of our flesh, and in this way we agree in our heart that sin is not an option  -  we also revile it.  Thus, we can obey His Word (Torah, the Light, Instructions, Teachings), because He writes a love for His Torah (Commandments) upon our heart.  They become our desire to obey, because He changes our desires, overcoming the worldly desires.

The “new” (or renewed) Covenant is:

AN OPEN LETTER FROM LEW WHITE TO:

James McDonald  Christian pastor;

James is pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel, & Walk In The Word radio broadcast.

His radio slogan is: 

“Igniting passion in the people of God through the proclamation of Truth.”  

He does not teach the observance of Passover, but stated that it is useless "religion" on his radio program, broadcasted across the planet. 

This is an open letter intended to correct that false teaching.

JAMES' RESPONSE, IF ANY, WILL BE POSTED BELOW THIS LETTER (as of 9-19-2007 no response)

At the time I’m writing this, you have not even begun the letter, so when you get to the 4^th chapter and how there “remains a Sabbath for the people of Elohim”, I’m sure there will be a great deal of “allegorizing” going on, learned from the church fathers (especially Augustine).  But for now, your statement that the author of Hebrews would have us neglect the observance of Passover is not going to slip by without a word.  If we are to walk in the Word, yet “repent” of obeying the Word, we are indeed double-minded.  We must reason and give attention to the foundation of the true faith, the worship (obedience) toward the Creator of Heaven and Earth, Yahuah.   We know Him as Yahushua, our Savior, the Mashiach of Yisrael, and we know that we know Him because we obey His Torah, the Commandments:

He that says,³⁰⁰⁴ ‘I know ¹⁰⁹⁷ Him,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² keeps⁵⁰⁸³ not³³⁶¹ His⁸⁴⁸ Commandments,¹⁷⁸⁵ is²⁰⁷⁶ a liar,⁵⁵⁸³ and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ truth²²⁵ is²⁰⁷⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ in¹⁷²² Him."⁵¹²⁹

Currently it’s true that most “Gentiles” (those not in a Covenant with Yahuah) would prefer to ignore the Ten Commandments, and the 7 appointed festivals which reflect the redemption plan for Israel, because they have been taught to disregard them.  This attitude will change when people receive a love for the Truth, Yahuah’s Word, and begin to walk in it as He calls them to repentance.  It begins with the teachers, like yourself. Notice that the first-fruits are people who do two important things:

These first-fruits are "obeying" the Commandments as well as holding to the words and belief in Yahushua.  Obeying Torah means they are in the Covenant. 

 If a person will not obey the Covenant, they are not in a covenant relationship with Yahushua. 

Satan is a believer, but will not OBEY.  To get straight to the point, the observance of Passover was still being promoted by the elders of the Natsarim long after Yahushua ascended, contrary to what you stated on the air as millions of deceived people listened.  Yahushua Himself enjoined us to remember Him through the symbols of matsah and wine whenever we observe Pesach, central to the theme of the Renewed Covenant with Israel, in this observance of His death each year in the spring.  What Christians do on Sun-day mornings is derived from the Catholic Church, not the Passover Seder Yahushua observed with His disciples.  Shaul (Paul) instructed us to keep the feast, so your statement is a departure from the clear admonition of this apostle. 

The correction to your teaching comes from 1 Cor. 5:7,8:

“Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast-as you really are.  For Mashiach, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.  Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with bread without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth.”   1 Cor 5:7-8

The “festival” mentioned here is the “MO’ED” or appointed time/festival of Yahuah known as “PESACH”, and usually included the actual Passover observance and the following 7 days when we eat no leavened bread.  This is the first of 7 festivals that are the “shadows” (as reflections or shapes that outline) the redemption plan of Israel by the workmanship of Yahushua Himself.  He is in each of these 7 appointments, but Catholicism rejected them all, and replaced them with “7 sacraments” from the old Mithraic religion of the Romans.  We simply cannot add to Yahuah’s Word by making things up as we go along:

“See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it.”  Deut 12:32

The deception used in the garden of Eden has continued to be employed by doctrines of demons, to lead mankind away from Yahuah’s Word.  Men continue to propagate the devil’s lie, saying “you don’t have to obey that, that’s not for you, it’s Judaizing if you obey”.  When we hear this kind of teaching, we are hearing doctrines of demons!  Passover was replaced by “EASTER”, a formerly Pagan practice, named after ISHTAR, or EOSTRE, the spring fertility “goddess”.  The KJV even replaced the word “PASSOVER” with this Pagan name, EASTER, at Acts 12:4.  But, all other translations corrected this error:

“After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover.”  Acts 12:4

Defenders of the KJV claim that Herod was observing “EASTER”, the Pagan festival of impregnation;  but the word was not EASTER, but Pascha, used 28 other times, and rendered as “Passover” in every case.  It wasn’t Herod that wrote the word, but brother Luke, and Luke did not write EASTER;  he wrote PESACH (subsequently transliterated as PASCHA in the Greek texts).

Brother Luke wrote this book we call “ACTS” about 31 years after Yahushua ascended into the heavens. 

Please do not ignore this letter, but answer from Scripture.  Surely Scripture would not argue with itself, but men bend and twist it to suit their beliefs.  Imagine for a moment, the two of us pleading with one another to come over to the other’s thinking, and then project forward to the day we both stand before Yahushua in His esteemed radiance.  One of us would be an elder in error, and the other correct.  I don’t wish to “win” for myself, but rather I only wish that Yahuah’s Word be taught in its entirety, without excuse.  There is nothing to fear in observing Passover, which Yahushua Himself told us to do in remembrance of Him, whenever we do it. 

The time we observe Yahushua’s death is once each year, at Pesach (Passover).

“For I received from the Master what I also passed on to you: The Master Yahushua, on the night He was betrayed, took bread, and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, ‘This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.’  In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.’  For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Master’s death until He comes.”

1 Cor 11:23-26

This was turned into a weekly “death cookie” ritual every “Sun-day” morning, and called a “celebration” of the Mass.  It is hardly a celebration, but rather it is a solemn reflection we Natsarim observe every year, remembering Yahushua’s body and blood (His death) as He instructed us to do.  He clearly said that He was observing Passover the night before He suffered, and that we should remember His death (in the appointed time), whenever we “do this” (Passover observance).  James, please open your eyes, get mad, but awaken.  The maddening wine (teachings) of the whore of Babylon (Jezebel, Catholicism, Rev. 2:20) has the entire world “drunk”.  The Passover is about death, and redemption to life.   How much trouble would people get into for observing Passover, or resting on the real Sabbath day each week, instead of “SUN-day”, the day Constantine established for Christians to rest?.  Many people await your response.  Here are a few quiz questions based on the teachings of the Scriptures to consider before you respond:

BRIEF HISTORY LESSON:

RABBI  is a term which the Pharisees were known by.

The Pharisees grew very powerful after the city and Temple of Yahuah was destroyed in 70 CE. 

The most powerful "rabbi" within Pharisaism arose in the early 2nd century, and he took it upon himself to put the "oral law" into a written form, called the Talmud.  His name was AKIBA. 

He perceived the Yahudim who followed Yahushua to be a serious threat, so he promoted a false Messiah (Bar Kochba) as a scheme to legally kill the Natsarim, the followers of Yahushua. 

As Bar Kochba rose-up as the false Messiah, his followers challenged the Roman occupation.  The Natsarim would not fight Rome over this false Messiah, and so this gave Bar Kochba (and the instigator, AKIBA), the legal authority to exterminate them - at least in their eyes. 

So, many Natsarim were killed, and even more driven away. 

Thus, Rabbinical Judaism (Pharisaism) took complete control over the early development of the post-Temple era, and it is still alive and well as an apostate form of religion, mostly due to this "Talmud", begun by AKIBA.  In it there are fabulous tales of AKIBA's greatness, and horrendous tales about Yahushua. 

The concept of "RABBI" is central to the Talmud's idea of eternal life.  Without a "RABBI", one cannot possibly acquire eternal life, according to Talmud. 

Talmud declares that all Rabbis are infallible. 

AKIBA's Talmud also declares that YAHUAH is but one of 70 rabbis, and He must go along with what the majority says.

Many Messianic leaders quote from this Talmud, unwittingly using AKIBA's rationalizations in their own teachings.  Since Yahushua was called a "RABBI" (my Teacher), it is likely that He was mistakenly thought to be a Pharisee, or the dominance of Pharisaism was so great that all who taught were customarily referred to by this term. 

The word "RABBI" is not found in the TaNaKh 

(commonly known as the O.T.).
